About the position

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks, contributing to both residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various electrical tasks.
• Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other testing equipment to ensure systems are functioning properly.
• Support experienced electricians in high voltage work and industrial electrical applications.
• Learn about the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards to ensure compliance on all projects.
• Participate in frame carpentry as needed for electrical installations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices.
• Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints is preferred.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools is essential.
• Willingness to learn about high voltage systems and industrial electrician practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
