About The Position

The Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Technician at Allred Metal Stamping Works, Inc. is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical and mechanical systems within the manufacturing facility. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various equipment to maintain operational efficiency and safety. Technicians will work with both electrical and mechanical systems, contributing to the overall reliability of the plant's operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Prior experience in electrical maintenance is valuable.
• Prior experience in mechanical maintenance is beneficial.
• Proficiency in drives, motors, pumps, 3-phase power, automated industrial machinery, communication devices, relays, servos, and various types of sensors.
• Familiarity with low voltage, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and sensors.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications like C&G, BTEC/HNC, OSHA, NVQ, PLC, DC, AC, LV, HV, and SWP.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform preventative and condition-based maintenance on various assets, including furnaces, presses, hydraulic systems, engines, motors, pumps, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
• Clean, lubricate, and inspect equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain controls and instrumentation for high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Handle general electrical maintenance for brewery facilities.
• Familiarity with low voltage, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, and instrumentation.
• Install new plant equipment and document engineering changes.
• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, including motors, generators, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend modifications to designs.
