Become a key player in our state-of-the-art train manufacturing plant in Lexington, North Carolina, where Siemens Mobility leads in the creation of passenger rail systems. As an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Specialist, you will engage in a wide variety of electrical and mechanical assembly and installation tasks in a high-powered production setting, constructing electrical control racks, wire harnesses, and sub-assemblies for top-tier rail transport systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED, or equivalent education and experience in manufacturing or similar fields.
  • Experience in electrical panel assembly, construction, automotive, or electrical industries.
  • A background in electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Basic proficiency in English communication both written and verbal.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without needing current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Skill in interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and part lists is advantageous.
  • Understanding of Electrical Schematics
  • Mechanical Assembly Expertise

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components in passenger coaches including, but not limited to, roofs, cable harnesses, mounted parts, electrical racks, and panels.
  • Link wires between component leads, including connectors and terminals.
  • Cut wires to length, then route, twist, wrap, tie, and attach them to terminal points.
  • Disassemble, modify, refurbish, and reassemble components as needed.
  • Work from production blueprints, wiring diagrams, and sketches to produce electrical or electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Utilization of fine motor skills for assembling small parts with high dexterity.
