We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Account Manager to join our Service team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or Data Center industry.

  • Generates new product leads and business opportunities that will translate into company revenue
  • Communicates and follows up with clients about specific projects, their goals, and deliverables
  • Prepares written estimates for clients based on labor, materials, equipment, subcontracts and other expenses
  • Negotiates contract agreements
  • Networks online, by phone, e-mail and in person with the IT and building facilities personnel within both government and commercial organizations
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of mission critical power and cooling industry trends and technologies
  • Conceptualizes and execute creative and differentiated strategies, programs, and tools that support clients' strategic objectives
  • Maintains all sales demonstration tools and applications
  • Penetrates all targeted accounts and radiates sales from within client base
  • Handles inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert into sales
  • Makes outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via phone and email to cross-sell and up-sell
  • Maintains and expand the company's database of prospects
  • Meets Technician's on location to better explain scope of work as needed
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients, vendors, and colleagues; works to establish a positive working relationship
  • Drives company/personal vehicle throughout service area while following all local laws
  • Operates vehicles and other equipment safely; adheres to safety protocols; reports hazards and risks; behavior contributes to a safe and secure working environment.
  • Reviews completed work to insure correct billing.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent education and experience
  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience in either of the following industries: Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or Data Center
  • Understanding of data center critical power and cooling systems
  • 3-5 years' experience working with IT companies, colocations and end user's who manage and maintain data center infrastructure
