Our Electric Transmission Planning team is leading the energy transition for our community and working with other utilities, advocacy groups, and regulators to help shape the energy future in the Pikes Peak region. We are undertaking the largest infrastructure expansion in our electric service history, expanding into regional markets, and integrating utility and customer-owned renewables. Our team is seeking a people-oriented and results-driven Electric Transmission Planning Supervisor to lead a team of engineers in the development and execution of transmission system planning, operations support activities, and integration in the Southwest Power Pool Regional Transmission Organization (RTO). This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and strategic growth of our transmission network. The successful candidate will guide the development of long-term transmission plans that support regional reliability and market efficiency, while also facilitating the interconnection and integration of new generation resources, including renewables, storage, and emerging technologies. This includes overseeing power flow and stability studies, evaluating system impacts, and supporting generator interconnection requests through our division's planning and study frameworks.
