This position is for a qualified college student seeking a BS in the field of business to join Electric Power Systems central FP&A team and gain valuable experience to further their personal growth and learning. The intern will report directly to the EPS Director of FP&A and work closely with the EPS central FP&A team and the broader EPS finance team. Responsibilities include reviewing all Sarbanes Oxley risk and gap documentation, completing any missing gap documentation, coordinating the cycle testing for one of the major control areas for EPS, tracking the cycle testing for all of EPS, and reporting Sales Orders greater than 1M to the Controllers group. The intern will learn about financial analytics driving a manufacturing/technology based business, how the accounting and control cycles impact a business, communication skills across functional groups and executives, and time management and independent work.
