About The Position

The Electric Pallet Jack Operator is responsible for efficiently moving, loading, unloading, and organizing products in the warehouse using an electric pallet jack. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the workflow and ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment while adhering to all safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Prior experience operating an electric pallet jack preferred but not required (training provided).
• Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and understand picking tickets, safety instructions, and basic operational guidelines.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide simple figures.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow directions, and work independently.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Frequently required to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
• Must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts and heavy palletized products in high, precarious places.
• Warehouse setting with varying temperatures and potential exposure to dust and noise.
• Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Utilize electric pallet jack to pull and transport orders based on picking tickets.
• Load and unload products from trucks safely and efficiently.
• Restock and rotate products as needed to maintain inventory levels.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Follow company safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks and other duties as assigned by supervision.
