About The Position

SiteWise LLC. has been awarded a maintenance contract with the City of Amarillo, TX. We are looking to hire an electric meter technician to provide a variety of services surrounding Xcel Energy's electric meters in and around the City of Amarillo, TX.

Requirements

• Preferred 3 Phase Metering Experience.
• Two (2+) plus years of customer service experience required.
• Two (2+) plus years of working with electricity preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis.
• Candidates must pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• HS Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Driving (50 - 75 % a day) and navigating throughout the service area for the City of Amarillo, Texas.
• Entering residential and commercial property to access the electric meters to perform required work.
• Exchanging electric meters to the new AMI electric meter.
• Working with energized electric equipment.
• Providing customer service with responsibility and humility.
• Working with pride and a high quality of workmanship traveling up to 50 % of the time though Amarillo, Plainview, Lubbock and Seminole Texas.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
