Electric Meter Svcs Installer I - II
About The Position
Perform all types of Meter Services work. Electric (and/or gas where applicable) turn on, turn off, removals, installs, change outs, rereads, reconnects, tampering etc. Responsible for working mainly three phase meters on residential and commercial accounts. Perform disconnects on residential and commercial accounts due to non-payment of bill. Install and remove different types of locks for tampering prevention. Must render excellent customer service in a professional manner while handling customers in the field. Flexibility to work irregular or extended hours as required. Position requires the ability to work outside in all types of weather, in unusual surroundings as well as normal conditions. Must be available for call outs. Be fully capable of performing other related tasks as assigned. Complete daily work tickets through the Mobile Data system. Assist in storm restoration efforts as needed. Know and practice Entergy's applicable safety rules and safe work procedures at all times. Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- COMPANY TESTING: Successful completion of the EEI CAST test
