About The Position

The Electric Insurance Account Executive position at Federated Rural Electric Insurance Exchange is a full-time role focused on managing relationships with rural electric cooperatives across Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, internet, and essential office tools
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn commercial insurance, electric utility operations, and Federated's products and policies
• Ability to travel overnight
• At least three years of experience in property and casualty insurance sales or over five years in rural electric utility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Connect with decision-makers and consultants at rural electric cooperatives.
• Provide expert advice on maintaining and improving utility insurance programs.
• Travel to member locations across the multi-state territory.
• Share information and quotes, customize coverage, and offer guidance to minimize potential risks.
• Represent Federated at regional and annual meetings.
• Manage detailed records of member information.
