This position is temporary part-time with an anticipated length of about 3 weeks and will have a work schedule of approximately 3 hours per day for 3 weeks in June, 10-12 hours on June 29, and 12-16 hours on June 30 (final day of assignment). GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:The Elections Agilis Assistant is a temporary/seasonal position responsible for assisting with the operation of the Agilis envelope sorting machine. It requires gaining an understanding of the Agilis machine to properly support county staff and a high volume of official ballot return envelopes. The Assistant supports all components of Agilis operation, including running a computer control interface, manually loading envelopes into a feeder, removing envelopes from sorting, and daily maintenance. Ideal candidates will be prepared for logical troubleshooting, long periods of standing, and attention to detail.
