About The Position
The Field Election Deputy (FED) position is a seasonal role within the San Francisco Department of Elections, aimed at supporting Poll Workers during the November 5, 2024 Consolidated General Election. FEDs are responsible for ensuring polling places are set up and operational, monitoring compliance with election procedures, and assisting with closing procedures. This role requires early morning to late-night availability on Election Day and completion of several training sessions prior to the event.
