About The Position

Infosys is seeking a Elasticsearch Engineer primary responsibility will be to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks while contributing towards developing and adhering to best practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project. Required Qualifications: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Philadelphia, PA or willing to relocate to the area. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines using scalable and efficient technologies. Develop scripts and workflows in UNIX environments for automation and data processing, including advanced shell scripting. Work with Python to design and deploy data models and solutions tailored to business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams utilizing JIRA for agile project management and tracking. Optimize and enhance Snowflake data warehouse solutions to support advanced analytics and reporting needs. Manage data storage solutions within AWS/S3 environments to ensure security, scalability, and accessibility. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across systems. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and provide technical support to the broader team.

Requirements

  • Strong experience working with UNIX environments and advanced shell scripting.
  • Proficient in Python for data manipulation, modeling, and automation tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA in an agile environment.
  • Expertise in Snowflake, including data warehouse design, optimization, and management.
  • Solid understanding of AWS/S3 for storage and data processing.
  • Proven background in data warehousing, ETL processes, and database technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
