TEACHER SUPPORT: University Preparatory Charter School for Young Men has a strong operational team with student managers at each grade level who support student achievement through a disciplinary model that includes students’ families. Administration provides all necessary instructional materials and support in a coaching model designed to build teacher confidence and competence. Requirements

NYS Teacher Certification in ELA or equivalent preferred.
Bachelor's in English, Literature, or a related field
Teaching experience in urban settings preferred.

Master’s preferred.

Creates a literacy-rich classroom that fosters critical thinking, reading, writing, and discussion skills.
Uses assessments to monitor student progress and adapts instruction accordingly.
