The Eastpointe Secondary Campus is a unique venue, supporting approximately 800 students in grades 8-12. Our campus consists of three schools on one campus (8th Grade Academy, a traditional high school setting for grades 9-12, and a Virtual Academy/Alternative Center). We prepare our students for college and career. Our secondary campus is a great fit for you with a stellar and supportive staff including two counselors, an assistant principal, DEAN, instructional coaches, and mentors. Our Middle School supports students in grades 6 and 7, and has a Principal, Assistant Principal, Social Worker, and Counselor. Look at our secondary schools for Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS), Academic and Athletic Coaching opportunities including STEM, and Curriculum Department Teams. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education with English Major, or beyond
• State of Michigan Teaching Certification, grades 6-12, or in process
• Knowledgeable in student management techniques; organizational skills; community community-oriented
• Experience working with a diverse population
• Successful Classroom teaching experience
