About The Position

The Summer Work: CHS ELA Curriculum position involves designing tasks for embedded honors and creating Understanding by Design (UbD) units for each Odell unit. Educators will name priority standards, identify language goals, and pair thinking routines with Odell's higher order thinking tasks. Participants are required to attend a Zoom session that outlines tasks and assigns roles and responsibilities for the curriculum summer work. Regular check-ins with Kadian James and Emily Floyd about progress are expected, culminating in the submission of a final product for feedback.

• Must be a Chelsea High School ELA teacher.
