We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable ELA Interventionist to join our educational team. The ELA Interventionist will be responsible for providing targeted ELA instruction to K-8 students who require additional support to meet grade-level expectations. This role involves collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention strategies that promote student success in ELA. Friendship is looking for responsible, confident, respectful, caring, committed, persistent, and patient professionals to join our family for the 2025-2026 school year starting in August 2024. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, ELA, or a related field preferred.
• Valid teaching certification/license for the appropriate grade levels.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching ELA, preferably in a K-8 setting.
• Strong knowledge of ELA intervention strategies and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents.
• Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance ELA instruction.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and varying abilities.
• Training or certification in ELA intervention programs or strategies.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small group ELA instruction to students identified as needing intervention.
• Develop and implement effective ELA intervention plans tailored to the specific needs of each student.
• Use data-driven assessment tools to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as necessary.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate intervention strategies into the regular classroom setting.
• Assist in the development and implementation of ELA curriculum and instructional materials that support diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and administrators.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in ELA instruction and intervention.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
