About The Position

The Walt Disney Studios encompasses the creation, production, promotion, sales, acquisition and domestic and international distribution of live-action and animated motion pictures, DVD releases, live stage plays, and music and soundtrack recordings. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures is a fast-paced division responsible for operations, entertainment and sales for the El Capitan Theatre, Disney's flagship right in the heart of Hollywood, in addition to producing multiple world premieres and company-wide events. This internship is a full-time, three-month commitment in the Hollywood, California area from June-August 2026.

Requirements

  • Energetic personality and strong work ethic
  • Ability to think on feet in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and be detail oriented
  • Ability to work with a team to create and share ideas
  • Strong computer skills with a variety of program experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Fully available with a consistent and reliable work schedule from June to August 2026 for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship program in the Hollywood, California area

Nice To Haves

  • Prior retail skills with customer service
  • Experience in theatre arts and/or stage management
  • Social media and computer graphics experience
  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in Business, Media Studies, Theatre, Marketing, Operations Management, or related major preferred
