About The Position

The EKG Technician position at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, involves overseeing device programming, educating patients about procedures, and addressing patient concerns regarding devices. Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee device programming including the integration and reprogramming of devices and monitoring of patients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures.
• Address and communicate patient concerns regarding devices to physicians.
• Administer, monitor, and reprogram devices.
• Maintain documentation of reported information and may perform additional clerical duties as assigned.
• Maintain supply inventory.
