EKG Technician performs inpatient and outpatient 12 Lead electrocardiograph recordings, holter/event monitor placement/scanning as needed, and treadmill stress testing along with related documentation.
Requirements
- Previous patient care experience required
- Previous EKG experience, able to obtain basic vitals, computer skills, heart rhythm recognition
- Good verbal and written skills
- Basic clerical, computer data entry and math skills
- HS/GED required
- Basic Life Support through American Heart Association required
- Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
Responsibilities
- Performs inpatient and outpatient 12 Lead electrocardiograph recordings
- Holter/event monitor placement/scanning as needed
- Treadmill stress testing along with related documentation
