About The Position

The EKG Technician at HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland is responsible for producing recordings of electromotive variations in patients' heart muscles using electrocardiographs (ECG). Requirements

• Completion of an EKG interpretation course is required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete cardiology procedures for patients.
• Review results of procedures to assure quality studies have been obtained.
• Consult with other disciplines as required to communicate results and patient status.
• Work as a team player to meet the needs of the department.
