About The Position

Must be able to work independently or as part of a team and need to be able to function well in emergency situations. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, are detail-oriented, and have excellent hand-eye coordination. Must be physically fit enough to work on their feet for long periods of time. Must be able to respond to code calls and stat calls in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED.
• BCLS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
• Must type minimum of 35 wpm.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• EKG Technician performs Electrocardiograms and Holter Monitor Placement.
• Responsible for charting test results to patient medical records and appropriate areas.
• Also, updating and editing procedures in multiple computer software environments.
• Responsible for cleaning and stocking equipment and work area.
