About The Position

Job Summary : To provide to patients basic cardiopulmonary diagnostic services and facilitate patient care through timely reports to physicians in accordance with the Hospital and Departmental mission statements, policies and procedures. Job Description Essential Responsibilities: 1. Will follow Departmental, Hospital and Human Resources Policy & Procedures. 2. Will schedule, record, report and maintain files on electrocardiograms, holter monitors, stress tests, ECHOs. 3. Will, under the order of a physician, perform non-invasive cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures after completion of training and competency evaluation in ECG, rhythm strip, and holter monitor hook-up/take-off. 4. Will record short cardiopulmonary history on patients through the asking of questions relevant to testing or procedure to be performed. 5. Will maintain departmental statistical and individual productivity records. 6. Will process patient billing per procedure. 7. Will act as part of the Code Blue Team. 8. Will use common sense and special medical skills to care for patients with regard to their age, diagnosis and physical abilities. Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Cross training into secretarial duties may be required.
