  • Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
  • Independently performs diagnostic quality ECGs, SAECG, and Holter monitor hook-ups.
  • Recognizes and alerts appropriate personnel to lethal arrhythmias and unstable hemodynamics.
  • Processes Holter data and assists with physician billing and staff scheduling.
  • Assists in the Stress lab where campus scheduling allows.
  • Demonstrates scheduling flexibility and is compliant with special requests as situations dictate.
  • Performs diagnostic electrocardiograms and positions and applies electrodes in proper location.
  • Identifies and corrects for wandering, interference, and artifact.
  • Appropriately applies Holter Monitors and obtains all necessary information for proper interpretation.
  • Manages unmatched list in a timely manner.
  • Identifies patients using the 2 FH acceptable identifiers, name and date of birth.
  • Accurately documents and reports all procedures in accordance with department expectations.
  • Enters all patient demographic information accurately.
  • Follows isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, performs hand washing according to FH policy.
  • Communicates with patient and their family members according to their age and understanding.
  • Explains procedures in a way that the receiver can understand.
  • Provides suggestions to improve department and hospital processes.
  • Provides goals on employee input form that lead to growth opportunities.
  • Assists with clinical instructions and serves as a resource to less experienced employees and new personnel.
  • Assists with scheduling, room preparation, turn-around, and supply restocking.
  • Transfers and attends to patients within department.
  • Experience performing ECGs in a hospital setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma.
  • Experience assisting in stress testing.
  • Experience with Philips and/or Mortara ECG machines.
  • Experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Records.
  • Debt-free Education (Certifications and Degrees without out-of-pocket tuition expense).
