Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Independently performs diagnostic quality ECGs, SAECG, and Holter monitor hook-ups.
Recognizes and alerts appropriate personnel to lethal arrhythmias and unstable hemodynamics.
Processes Holter data and assists with physician billing and staff scheduling.
Assists in the Stress lab where campus scheduling allows.
Demonstrates scheduling flexibility and is compliant with special requests as situations dictate.
Performs diagnostic electrocardiograms and positions and applies electrodes in proper location.
Identifies and corrects for wandering, interference, and artifact.
Appropriately applies Holter Monitors and obtains all necessary information for proper interpretation.
Manages unmatched list in a timely manner.
Identifies patients using the 2 FH acceptable identifiers, name and date of birth.
Accurately documents and reports all procedures in accordance with department expectations.
Enters all patient demographic information accurately.
Follows isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, performs hand washing according to FH policy.
Communicates with patient and their family members according to their age and understanding.
Explains procedures in a way that the receiver can understand.
Provides suggestions to improve department and hospital processes.
Provides goals on employee input form that lead to growth opportunities.
Assists with clinical instructions and serves as a resource to less experienced employees and new personnel.
Assists with scheduling, room preparation, turn-around, and supply restocking.
Transfers and attends to patients within department.

Experience performing ECGs in a hospital setting.
Basic Life Support (BLS).

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma.
Experience assisting in stress testing.
Experience with Philips and/or Mortara ECG machines.
Experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Records.
