This position performs EKGs, treadmill tests, holter monitor scanning and patient education related to event monitors. This position requires more specialized knowledge to recognize rhythms when performing tests such as holter scanning and treadmills. Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years EKG experience.
• HEART SAVER - American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - American Heart Association.
• BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs and reports results on routine and specialized electrocardiograph examinations as directed.
• Holter/Pacemaker/Event Recorder Duties and Responsibilities.
• Exercise Testing.
• General Cardiovascular Duties.
• Administrative Duties.
