About The Position

The EKG Technician will be responsible for performing all types of EKGs, EKG editing, storage, and retrieval through the appropriate computer system, and assisting with the charging process for the Allied Health Department. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Familiarity with various types of EKGs
• Must demonstrate effective communication, orally and in written format
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Some computer skills helpful
• Recognize effect of various conditions and ages on interpretation of EKGs
• Deal effectively with patients, visitors, situations, and other Care Team members, while maintaining emotional control
• Previous experience in healthcare required

Nice To Haves

• Some experience performing EKGs is preferred
