About The Position

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 24 Work Shift: Days/Afternoons (United States of America) General Summary Responsible for performing a variety of cardiac testing: EKG, Holter, Stress Testing and Echocardiography. Exhibits independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. Participates in continuously improving the process of care delivery focused upon the customer. Promotes a positive climate for interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships. Demonstrates favorable guest relations and continues to promote values of the hospital in daily work performance. Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic at a level normally acquired through completion of high school or equivalent.
• Knowledge of diagnostic Cardiac practices and procedures at a level normally acquired through completion of an A.S. in a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography Program and/or extensive on the job training under the direction of a cardiologist.

Nice To Haves

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible is desired.
• At least one year work and call experience preferred.
