About The Position

As an EKG Technician Instructor, you will be responsible for preparing and lecturing on specified content utilizing the school’s textbook. You will administer academic and skills assessments according to the syllabus and lead hands-on skills labs, including skill demonstration and student feedback. Maintaining accurate student records and paperwork, including attendance, notes on student progress and conduct in class, and recording and reporting of grades, is also part of your responsibilities. You will complete tasks required by the beginning of a class session, including handling student payments and accepting student documentation. It is essential to practice within the rules and regulations of the school and the state in which the school is located, following the curriculum set by the Ohio School of Phlebotomy and approved by the state.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience as an EKG Technician or similar/more advanced practice (EMT, Physician's Assistant, LPN, etc)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the US

• Previous teaching experience is not required
