About The Position

The EKG Computer Operator in Graphics is required to support editing all EKG's. Once EKG's are edited, the final report is reflected in Epic. In addition to editing all EKG's that are sent to MUSE, the Computer Operator provides work direction to technical staff to manage the day-to-day workflow of EKG orders to ensure they are completed timely and by priority. The Computer Operator performs various quality checks/maintenance on the EKG Carts in collaboration with Biomed, assessment of clinical quality of EKG's, and filtering all calls from inpatient floors. The Computer Operator also acts as a liaison between staff and Manager as appropriate. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of relevant experience in a medical setting.
• Prior Data Entry experience.

Nice To Haves

• Certification from approved Medical Technician Training program.
• Prior experience as an EKG Technician.
