About The Position

Under general supervision and according to department procedure, initiates and correctly performs to completion, diagnostic tests ordered by the physician including EKG, Holter, and event monitors for all inpatients and outpatients. This position is responsible for cleaning and storing Respiratory Therapy equipment according to department procedure.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Basic Rhythm Interpretation course within 6 months.
• Knowledge of Electrocardiograms (EKG).
• Demonstrated ability to be self directed and highly motivated.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Must possess excellent collaboration skills with interdisciplinary team members to reach department goals.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of 12 Lead Basic Course
• Health Unit Coordinator Certification
• CMA
• Experience with Performing and Interpreting EKGs.
