About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill an EITS Sr. Director and Laboratory Informationist position for our client in New York, NY. Duration: 12 months Duties: Lead laboratory data governance, ensuring integrity, security, and regulatory compliance. Oversee system validation for new lab instruments and interfaces. Monitor and improve KPIs for lab system functionality and data quality. Partner with Project Management to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as needed. Skills: Expertise in laboratory information systems and clinical informatics. Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft and/or Google Suite applications. Ability to establish and enforce data policies and procedures. Experience: Healthcare experience required. 5+ years in managerial or leadership roles preferred. Education: M.D. or D.O. degree required. Board Certification in Clinical Pathology, Anatomic Pathology, or combined Pathology. Board Certification or eligibility in Clinical Informatics (or equivalent experience). Certification(s)/NYS Licenses: Board Certification in Clinical Pathology, Anatomic Pathology, or combined Pathology. Board Certification or eligibility in Clinical Informatics (or equivalent experience). Special Equipment/Machines Operated: Basic computing equipment.
