  • Build, test, install, and remove experimental equipment.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on scientific research equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings related to electronics, mechanical, and cryogenic systems.
  • Provide technical support for staff, users, and college students conducting research.
  • Participate in rotational teams that may require on-call duties for ongoing projects.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using non-powered and battery-powered hand tools.
  • Ability to safely execute well-defined tasks under supervision.
  • Adaptability to a changing work environment.
  • Experience with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and cranes.
