Join us and dare for better This field-based role reports to the PepsiCo Foods US (PFUS) Supply Chain EHS Sr. Director and plays a key leadership role in advancing PepsiCo Foods North America's (PFNA) Beyond Zero safety culture. The Regional Sr. EHS Manager provides strategic guidance, technical expertise, and operational leadership to reduce risk, strengthen EHS capability, and ensure regulatory and corporate compliance across manufacturing and warehouse locations. This leader drives the execution of the PFNA Supply Chain EHS Annual Operating Plan (AOP) within assigned regions, translating risk assessments and performance insights into targeted improvement strategies. The role partners closely with regional and site leadership to implement prevention-focused programs, build EHS competencies, and embed safety and environmental stewardship into daily operations and decision-making. For a candidate to be successful in this role they will influence and align stakeholders at all levels, serve as a trusted advisor on EHS matters, and help shape the continued evolution of PFNA's EHS strategy, culture, and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Safety, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field; advanced EHS credentials preferred (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM, PE).
  • 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in manufacturing and/or fleet operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in EHS management systems, regulatory compliance (OSHA/EPA/DOT), and program deployment across multiple sites.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
  • Skilled in conducting and leading EHS audits and risk assessments.
  • Executive-level communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence, present, and effectively engage with senior leadership and frontline teams.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, including developing talent, guiding high-performance teams, and driving cultural change.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across a matrixed organization and build strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential or sensitive matters; capable of making independent, informed decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to field EHS leaders to deliver the EHS Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and advance the company's EHS culture and performance.
  • Strengthen organizational capability by developing EHS talent, leadership competencies, and bench strength across the Region.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of EHS management systems to achieve compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations and internal corporate standards.
  • Conduct executive-level site engagement to assess performance, remove barriers, and support leadership alignment on EHS priorities.
  • Drive high-quality incident investigation and root cause analysis, ensuring corrective actions address systemic and behavioral contributors.
  • Lead and validate risk assessments, ensuring effective, sustainable controls are in place to prevent high-risk events.
  • Monitor and interpret EHS performance indicators to identify emerging trends, priority gaps, and high-impact improvement opportunities.
  • Architect and execute strategic risk reduction plans, ensuring alignment with national EHS direction and regional business needs.
  • Influence and partner with Operations, HR, Engineering, and senior leadership to embed EHS into operational decision-making and business planning.
  • Act as a change leader, modeling and reinforcing expectations for visible safety leadership and accountability throughout the organization.
  • Provide coaching and direction to direct reports, ensuring clear priorities, performance outcomes, and professional development.
  • Travel up to 50%; candidate to reside within the Region.

Benefits

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $118,700 - $198,800.

  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
