Your Key Responsibilities Plan and implement programs related to EHS aspects in order to comply with all respective and relevant local regulations and legislations and to achieve the organization's own sustainability goals related to EHS. Implement policies, standards and guidelines for EHS related topics. Implement agreed programs to manage respective management systems locally. Plan, coordinate, organize and/or conduct audits and inspection including analyses and documentation of findings. Provide advice on related subjects and support implementation of sustainable processes and products. Cooperate with stakeholders in the organization and/or external auditors, and relate with regulatory and government agencies and associations, on an operational level. Perform activities related to air, water, waste regulations and programs. Perform activities realted to safety programs such as hazard communication, lockout tagout, electrical safety, and chemical safety. Assess risks and develop effective safety strategies. Communicate to a variety of stakeholders. Perform responsibilities related to ISO 14001, 45001 and 50001 EHS and Energy managment systems. Complete government and company recordkeeping and reporting. External applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employment visa or other sponsorship

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, Safety, or Engineering area.
  • 3 to 5 years experience working in EHS area.
  • Proficient Organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including work with MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint .
  • Ability to travel and support three sites in MI (Armada, Auburn Hills, and Troy)in order to support thier EHS programs.
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employment visa or other sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as CSP, ASP or PE a plus.
