About The Position

PCX Holding, LLC is looking for an EHS Specialist to become a part of our rapidly growing company servicing commercial construction, renewable energy, and Data Center markets. The EHS Specialist is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs across manufacturing operations. This role drives compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, leads risk assessments and audits, and fosters continuous improvement and a strong safety culture within the organization. PCX Holding, LLC is the leading integrator of engineered and prefabricated electrical/mechanical systems for the modular data center, commercial and industrial markets. Our product offerings include but are not limited to Modular Data Centers, Power Equipment Centers, Custom Integrated Switchboards, and pre-manufactured indoor/outdoor electrical distribution centers.A Day In The Life Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations; maintain permits and documentation. Prepare and submit required EHS reports (e.g., OSHA logs, EPA waste filings). Risk Assessments & Audits: Conduct regular safety/risk assessments and site inspections; identify hazards, recommend corrections, and track follow-up actions. Incident & Near-Miss Investigations: Lead investigations, conduct root-cause analysis, implement corrective/preventive measures. Training & Engagement: Develop and deliver EHS training (e.g., emergency response, PPE use, hazard communication). Facilitate toolbox talks, safety workshops, and employee awareness sessions. Environmental Management: Oversee hazardous waste handling/disposal, energy and material usage, and pollution prevention initiatives. Policy Development & Continuous Improvement: Design/update EHS procedures, policies, and emergency response plans. Promote best practices and continuous enhancements. Support implementation of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, production, and maintenance to integrate safety requirements into operations and projects. Performance Monitoring & Metrics: Track EHS KPIs (incident rates, audit findings); report on trends and performance to leadership. What will help you thrive in this role? Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing. In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, RCRA, HAZWOPER, ISO 14001/45001, and other statutory standards. Proven track record managing safety and environment compliance in industrial settings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, RCRA, HAZWOPER, ISO 14001/45001, and other statutory standards.
  • Proven track record managing safety and environment compliance in industrial settings.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, ASP, CHST, or OHST.
  • OSHA 30-hour, HAZWOPER certified.
  • Experience with EHS management systems (e.g., Intelex, Enablon).
  • Industrial hygiene techniques and familiarity with air monitoring or chemical exposure assessments.
