The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team collaborates with business units to ensure the safety of our employees, community, and environment. Our EHS Management System supports our global ISO 14001 and 45001 certifications and cutting-edge product development. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team.

Requirements

  • Manage assigned EHS programs, providing technical and regulatory expertise, maintaining management system procedures, and interacting with regulators
  • Collaborate with business units early in new projects to integrate EHS requirements into their planning
  • Oversee compliance for site activities in specified EHS programs, such as hazardous waste management, chemical review and inventory, industrial hygiene, air quality permitting, stormwater, wastewater treatment
  • Serve as the primary EHS liaison with several business groups
  • Participate in the Chemical Emergency Response Team (CERT) and/or Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT)
  • Availability to participate in a rotating on-call system for 24/7 emergency response within 30 minutes

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in an environmental or chemical engineering field, or equivalent coursework and experience
  • CIH certification highly preferred
  • Certifications such as CSP, CHMM, or PE
  • Experience with EHS management systems like ISO 14001 or ISO 45001
  • Cal/OSHA HAZWOPER certification (24-hour Haz Mat Technician, 40-hour, or Incident Commander)
  • Ability to engage in hands-on hazardous materials activities, including incident response
  • Ability to transition to alternate shifts
