EHS Specialist Our team in Idaho Falls is growing! We are looking for an EHS Specialist to join our team. As the EHS Specialist, you are responsible for administering an effective EHS program and for reporting on matters concerning accidents involving property damage, serious injuries and the findings pertaining to equipment accidents, incidents and near misses. Location: Idaho Falls, ID (onsite) Infrequent travel to other locations as required. Your Challenge: Oversees the development, planning, and implementation of environmental, health and safety policies; develops procedures (electrical safety, chemical safety, ergonomics, illness and injury prevention, and building safety) used throughout the company. Develops and oversees company training programs for employees in areas such as compliance training, work area inspection, hazardous material handling, emergency response, industrial hygiene, and life safety. Teams with management to create, write, and distribute work instructions and JHAs May be the point of contact for emergency personnel and manage workers compensation program administration. Thorough knowledge of fundamentals of safety education, accident prevention and safety psychology, and related behavioral based programs. Oversees licensed hazardous waste disposal and monitors waste handling.
