Work location is Fort Worth, TX headquarters plants. Environmental Health & Safety Join the Bell Fort Worth Environmental Health and Safety Team helping protect Bell greatest assets, our employees. Safety is the foundational building block for Bell and our team is dedicated to partnering with the business to establish programs and initiatives to maintain our below world class safety record. What you’ll be doing as an EHS Site Representative: · Improve EHS workplace performance by promoting a safe workplace, identifying, and mitigating safety risks and implementing Bell safety programs: Safety Culture, Safety Compliance and Safety Prevention. · Development and implementation of programs and procedures to assure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and Local occupational safety standards and Bell requirements. · Facilitate safety incident investigations, work with key stakeholders to develop root cause analysis, and identify corrective actions. · Conduct compliance audits and guide teams with implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance. · Project management and coordinate implementation of actions which drive continuous improvement. Verify the appropriateness and effectiveness of action plans associated with incidents JHA’s and audit findings. · Conduct business with the highest ethical standards and demonstrate decision-making skills that ensure the safety of all persons associated with Bell operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, we prefer degrees in safety, engineering, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, systems/industrial engineering, business administration, or a related science, engineering, or business field.
  • At least 6+ years of work experience in an Occupational Health and Safety role in manufacturing or similar industries such as oil & gas, construction, transportation, utilities, or logistics.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety programs such as Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Working at Heights, Electrical Safety, Machinery and Machine Guarding, Crane and Hoist, Powered Industrial Truck/forklifts, etc is required.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism.
  • Ability to complete assignments with autonomy, attention to detail, and high degree of accuracy.
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines.
  • Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision.
