About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and manage safety programs across our manufacturing facilities and construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations while driving a proactive safety culture that protects employees, contractors, and the surrounding community. The ideal candidate is hands-on, confident working in both manufacturing and construction environments, and capable of partnering with leadership to continuously improve safety performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing and construction environments
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable safety regulations
  • Proven experience leading safety programs and investigations
  • Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in manufacturing and construction environments
  • Regular site visits, including active construction areas
  • Ability to travel as needed

Nice To Haves

  • CSP, ASP, CHST, or similar certification
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Ensure compliance across manufacturing operations and active construction sites
  • Lead job hazard analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and safety audits
  • Design and deliver EHS training for employees, supervisors, and contractors
  • Promote a strong safety culture through coaching, engagement, and leadership presence
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for EHS best practices
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
  • Track and analyze safety metrics, trends, and leading indicators
  • Prepare and submit required regulatory reports
  • Manage environmental programs including waste management, air and water compliance, and hazardous materials
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and support inspections and audits
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and project teams to integrate safety into daily activities and project planning
  • Support construction site safety planning, contractor onboarding, and site inspections
  • Report EHS performance and improvement initiatives to senior leadership
