About The Position

Talent Consultants is seeking an experienced EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Manager to ensure that our client operates in compliance with all regulatory requirements while maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all employees. The EHS Manager will develop, implement, and oversee environmental health and safety programs across the organization, working closely with various departments to foster a proactive EHS culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of EHS regulations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead training initiatives that promote safety awareness. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management or a related role.
  • Knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage employees at all levels.
  • Experience conducting training sessions and developing EHS programs.
  • Proficient in EHS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or similar certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Compile and analyze EHS data and metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide training and education to employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with management to develop risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate and participate in safety meetings and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and ensure timely reporting and compliance.
  • Stay updated on emerging EHS regulations and best practices to maintain compliance and improve workplace safety.
