About The Position

NOVO Health Services offers linen management solutions to the healthcare industry, focusing on safety and infection control. They provide value-driven linen management control systems and a wide range of service programs. Their regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and operate with state-of-the-art processing equipment. NOVO Health Services is seeking a dedicated and proactive Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to drive and uphold the highest standards of safety across their operations. This role reports to the Director of EHS and is critical in ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening safety programs, and fostering a culture where safety is a shared responsibility. It is a highly visible role that partners closely with plant leadership and frontline teams to create a safe, compliant, and continuously improving work environment. NOVO Health Services is the only "one stop shop" service provider in the U.S. currently serving all healthcare-related end markets with both Healthcare Laundry Services as well as Sterilized Reusable Surgical Solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in EHS, safety management, or a related field within industrial, manufacturing, or healthcare environments
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards
  • Experience leading safety audits, incident investigations, and training programs
  • Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels of the organization
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a multi-site environment

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across facilities to identify hazards and ensure compliance
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies and procedures aligned with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and industry standards
  • Design and deliver impactful training programs, including “train-the-trainer” initiatives, focused on safe work practices, equipment usage, and emergency response
  • Lead investigations of incidents, accidents, and near-misses; identify root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and internal policies, maintaining accurate documentation for audits and inspections
  • Mentor and support plant safety committees to drive engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with hourly employees, leadership teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Stay current on regulatory updates, industry trends, and best practices in environmental health and safety
  • Travel up to 50% to support multiple facility locations
