Position Summary: Provide functional leadership to ensure the KCPX Pilot Facility implements EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) systems that meet Kimberly-Clark Best Practices and federal and state regulatory requirements. The incumbent will provide leadership for continuous improvement in all EHS activities in support of achieving a loss-free environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 plus years of experience in a manufacturing environment with experience leading EHS programs and practices.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work cross-functionally within the plant and business organizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other federal and state agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in safety and environmental loss prevention.
  • Establish strategies and processes that support the implementation of the EHS Maturity Model program deliverables.
  • Implement strategies & initiatives that achieve site EHS objectives and results in the continuous improvement of site EHS processes.
  • Create and foster programs that lead to a culture where safety is recognized as a value.
  • Benchmark and implement Leader Standard Work and other KC site EHS best practices.
  • Ensure site compliance with Wisconsin OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other federal and state mandated safety regulations.
  • Lead the team that implements site-wide safety and environmental initiatives.
  • Identify, evaluate and coordinate implementation of new methods and approaches to accelerate safety and environmental improvement.
  • Lead incident investigations at site and ensure 4-step problem solving is followed.
  • Lead the site EHS Steering Committee meetings.
