About The Position

The position involves participating in hazard hunts and gemba walks to determine trend data, engaging in incident investigations, and creating risk reduction solutions with a multidisciplinary team. The intern will assist in the creation of lockout procedures and work closely with the onsite team to learn about common manufacturing hazards and how to mitigate them. Additionally, the intern will learn how to perform root cause analysis to reduce risk and use software to create lockout procedures with the help of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a similar field.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the US without the need for sponsorship.

Responsibilities
