About The Position

Objective of job: To establish, implement and maintain EHS policies within the designated sites to ensure compliance within organizational as well as local, state and federal regulations. Must be able to respond to technical and regulatory inquiries with minimal oversight from Head of Security, Safety and Services US. Has the ability to perform regulatory research, perform audit, write reports, create and deliver presentations, and lead special projects. Principal Activities: Plans, Implements, & Maintains all applicable procedures, processes, and programs relating to EHS within compliance with all local, state & federal statutes Manages record keeping, presentation, & evaluation of department Records & Key Performance Indicators i.e. KPIs (300 log, Incident Log, Utilities, Tier 2, etc.) Provides EHS training & orientation to new & existing employees (NHO, LOTO, etc.) Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs aligning with organizational and regulatory requirements. Perform internal EHS compliance audits and manage the implementation of audit corrective action recommendations from internal/external audit sources. Evaluates, Implement, and Maintain ISO standards 45001 & 14001 Maintain and provide environmental regulatory and technical expertise on air quality and emission, wastewater, storm water, as well as solid and hazardous waste management. Cultivate and Continuously improve a “safety culture” among all site employees, believing in a zero injury workplace. Conduct, Review, & Communicate Job specific Risk Assessment across all processes (PPE, Ergonomics, etc.) Assist & Conduct incident investigation, root cause evaluation, & implement root cause corrective action plans (Incident Reporting) Manages workplace injuries and workers compensation treatment plans. Represents the organization before governing agencies, inspectors, & auditors. Coordinate internal first responder & external emergency personal during emergency scenarios (Fire, Storm, Security, etc.) Perform first aid & wellness checks of site associates, from KPI data to corrective actions. Responsible for community events (blood drives, adopt a highway, etc.) Responsible for Hazard Recognition and Prevention.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of previous EHS related experience required.
  • 3 to 5 years of Fire Protection knowledge.
