About The Position

Department: EHS. Shift: 1st. Currently, we have an exciting career opportunity for a part time paid EHS Engineer Intern position to assist in projects for environmental health and safety conditions of the workplace. Projects will include: State and Federal environmental health and safety regulatory programs including the Clean Air Act, RCRA, Clean Water Act, EPCRA, DOT, OSHA, etc.

Requirements

• Minimum second year students working towards a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental/Civil/Chemical/Safety Engineering.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and interact closely with other departments, customers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in projects for environmental health and safety conditions of the workplace.
• Work on state and federal environmental health and safety regulatory programs.
• Engage in various short/long term projects to improve maintenance reliable programs.
• Gain experience in equipment design, root cause analysis, trend analysis, and process improvement activities within an industrial setting.
