A problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. That's why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. In this role, you will be supporting the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Program for our Data Centers and Technical Infrastructure assets. This role will be responsible for the development, implementation and execution of the Global EHS Emergency Preparedness Program, ensuring conformance with Google Cloud's EHS expectations and ensuring compliance with related EHS regulations, minimizing risk, and fostering a culture of EHS excellence. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a testing program to assess the adequacy of existing emergency action plans and where required to provide recommendations for improvement. You will be ensuring that all related teams are trained in incident management and that our network of vendors and contractors for emergency response is reliable. The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.
