About The Position

Core Molding Technologies is hiring an EHS Coordinator to support environmental, health, and safety programs in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll help maintain compliance, conduct training and audits, and promote a strong safety culture across the plant.

Requirements

• BS or Associate degree in environmental, safety, or related scientific field
• 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing, with 1–2 years in an EHS role
• Experience with safety regulations, environmental compliance, and workplace training
• Knowledge of ergonomics, machine guarding, ladder safety, and confined spaces
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Mechanically inclined and committed to safety excellence

Nice To Haves

• Experience with composites or SMC compounding operations
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 EMS and IATF 16949 QMS
• EHS certifications (OSHA 30, CSP, CIH, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Support EHS compliance with regulatory and corporate standards
• Guide employees and supervisors on safe work practices
• Conduct safety training, orientations, and emergency response drills
• Lead the plant’s Emergency Response Team
• Perform regular safety audits and inspections
• Support incident investigations and track corrective actions
• Assist with maintaining permits, documentation, and compliance reports
• Help identify risks and implement preventive safety measures
• Maintain accurate SOPs and support ISO 14001 / IATF 16949 systems
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies during inspections
