About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring an EHS Coordinator in Dawson, GA. This position is a contract role with a long-term duration. The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the development, maintenance, and implementation of safety programs, compliance plans, and initiatives. The role requires routine safety observations to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and company policies. The position is 100% onsite, with travel to other client locations arranged and paid for by the client manager. The shift timings are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Requirements

• 1-3 years' experience with Environmental, Health and Safety background is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in PC skills including Microsoft Office applications.
• The ability to prioritize requests effectively and understand importance and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Analytical/problem solving skills, both written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development, maintenance, and implementation of safety programs, compliance plans, and initiatives.
• Assist in routine safety observations to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, company environmental, health and safety positions, procedures, and practices.
• Have Contractor Oversight including the administration of Contractor EHS Orientations, issuance of the Client Work permits, and ensuring sign-in/sign-out of contractors.
