About The Position

The EHS Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing OSHA policies and programs, providing guidance on safety-related subjects, and managing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) matters. This role involves preparing and delivering training sessions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a safety-oriented culture within the organization.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a safety coordinator or manufacturing team lead.
• Experience in a fast-paced and high-volume distribution environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• OSHA 10 certification minimum.
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities efficiently.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Valid Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

• Fluent in Spanish is preferred.
• HVAC knowledge is a great plus!
• Motivational Speaker experience.
• Experience delivering PIT Training.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements OSHA policies and programs.
• Provides guidance and leadership to employees regarding safety-related subjects.
• Manages EHS matters for site visits and external inquiries.
• Prepares and delivers training sessions on safety protocols and procedures.
• Provides instruction to new and existing employees regarding operational standards.
• Submits recommendations for enhancements to the EHS program.
• Collaborates with HR and management to draft and execute safety policies.
• Facilitates monthly safety committee meetings to promote a safety-oriented culture.
• Enforces preventative measures and ensures compliance with safety regulations.
• Partners with HR to integrate safety training into the onboarding process.
• Conducts proactive risk audits to identify safety opportunities.
• Assists with incident investigations and compiles accident reports.
• Oversees workplace repairs and addresses safety violations.
• Maintains a record of safety actions and shares them with the team.
