About The Position

The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator supports the environment, health, and safety team by collaborating with diverse stakeholders to complete tasks efficiently, exercising autonomy within established procedures. The role involves working on Health & Safety problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. This position supports the EHS leader in developing, implementing, and managing safety/environmental programs, policies, and procedures for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. The development of solutions requires a multi-disciplinary approach and knowledge of Health & Safety principles, theories, and concepts. The coordinator formulates solutions for technical partial problems that cannot be found by combining previous experiences but by composing newly acquired Health & Safety knowledge and regulatory requirements per CAL-OSHA law. Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in Environmental Health and Safety in an industrial setting.
  • High school diploma and/or vocational education including specialized training in environmental health & safety or a related field.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO, and other government regulations.
  • Ability to successfully perform the minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office applications skills.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment.
  • Must reside in or within commuting distance to Ontario, CA.
